La Serena Golf Resort, Murcia
La Serena Golf is one of the most popular courses in Murcia. Not least because of the location near to the beaches of the Mar Menor but also for the closeness to Los Alcázares and Murcia San Javier Airport. The course is relatively short and very much a shot making course. The practice facilities are very good and the Clubhouse is excellent. There is also a hotel on site with plenty of facilities including self-contained apartments (Aparthotel).
Technically, there is water on 16 of the 18 holes which can act as a deterrent however it is not in play on all 16 holes. This is a very popular venue for local players and there have been many Tournaments hosted by La Serena over the years.
