Description: The course was designed by Don Manuel Quesada Mendiola and was opened in the summer of 2002 and federated in 2003. The golf course was originally made up of 9 holes, however, the remaining nine holes have been completed at Sensol and are very different (some say more challenging) than the front nine. It is expected that the club will now concentrate on bringing the front nine greens up to the same standard. The Club de Golf Sensol is located just 10 minutes drive away from the costal town of Puerto de Mazarron. Facilities at the club include the clubhouse, bar and restaurant. There is also a four star Hotel under construction with a spa resort of thermal waters.
The Clubhouse is open for business each day serving both food and drinks. The newly opened Hotel (www.manolihotels.com) is a welcome addition to the Golf Club. Golf membership is available for the regular player and can be purchased either as an individual member, couples, and families or as a junior member, for 6 months or for a full year. Facilities: The club offers a Golf School with Beginners courses, Intensive courses, Private Classes and Lessons to obtain your Handicap and Federation license. At the golf course you will also find a luxury clubhouse which has weekend entertainment and good Spanish and English food in an informal and relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is open to the public and the amazing views must not be missed. Sensol Golf is situated roughly 12kms from the beautiful beaches of Mazarron, situated in South East Spain in the Murcia province. This is Spain's secret coast, where the mountains meet the sea. Sensol Golf Club is located within an inland village called Urbanization Camposol, which has been created with supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops banks etc. This is a very popular destination for Brits as the British make up 99% of the population of Camposol.
