Marina de Cope will be a 5,000-acre mega project, and is slated to be the largest tourist resort development in all of Europe.
Marina de Cope will be an ultimate destination catering to 20,000 hotel guests with 9,000 residential units and 2 mixed-use town centers – a marina village entertainment district and a cultural civic center. A high-quality sports complex intended to capture an international market will offer 5 golf courses, tennis, soccer, cricket and polo, making it the prominent sports facility in Europe. In addition, Marina de Cope will have a vast marina of 69-acres and 2,000 slips as part of the program.
Construction should commence in 2007 with an estimated 15 year timeline. Upon completion, a solid investment of over $4 billion will have been made to bring a positive and vital transformation to the Murcia region and all of Spain.
