Mar Menor Village Golf was originally a 9 hole venue designed by Dave Thomas but was converted to 18 holes in 2010 by Nicklaus Design.

With the addition of 9 Holes , the newer holes fit in the middle of the course so the finishing Holes remained unchanged with the Hotel overlooks the 18th Green. The middle part of the Round is well regarded as one of the most impressive series of Holes in the region. Given the location close to the coast, Mar Menor Golf Village is the busiest of the 6 Jack Nicklaus courses.
